This extraordinary evening begins with the clever and inspired Variations on 'America' by Charles Ives, a composer often considered light years ahead of his time. World-renowned violinist Mark O'Connor takes the stage, joined by rising star Kelly Hall-Tompkins, for his Double Violin Concerto, a fusion of American music styles including Dixieland.
